I already know these grounds
Before the property became The River Manor, I photographed Joanne and Ian’s wedding here under its previous name, Wyreside Hall.
The new venue will bring a completely different look and experience, but the riverside landscape, mature trees and countryside setting are already familiar territory. That means I know how well the grounds can work without pretending I have photographed a finished venue that has not opened yet.
Tell me about your plansA new chapter for the Wyreside Estate
The River Manor is being created as a new wedding destination rooted in the existing Dolphinholme estate. Its plans combine riverside surroundings with new spaces designed specifically for modern weddings.
The setting
River, woodland, meadow and established gardens around the Lancashire property.
The new venue
A botanical Green Orangery and riverside ceremony setting form part of the plans.
The full stay
On-site cottages, a preparation space and honeymoon suite are planned for couples and guests.

These outdoor photographs were made at the property when it operated as Wyreside Hall. They show the existing house, grounds and evening light—not the venue’s planned new interiors or finished River Manor experience.
