I’m Richard, an award-winning Lancashire wedding photographer based near Lancaster. My style is relaxed, documentary and people-focused: the hugs, the nerves, the questionable dance moves and everything you didn’t notice happening.
I won’t spend the day barking instructions or turning your wedding into a production. I’ll blend in when the story is unfolding and offer calm, simple direction when it helps. The result is a set of photographs that looks beautiful and still feels honest.

Where are you based, and do you travel?
I’m based in Morecambe, Lancashire and regularly photograph weddings across Lancaster, Preston, the Ribble Valley, Cumbria and the Lake District. I work nationwide too. Travel within a 100-mile round trip of Lancaster is included; longer journeys may have a small additional fee.
What is your wedding photography style?
Natural, relaxed and documentary-led. I focus on genuine moments and the people who matter to you, while giving clear, unfussy direction for portraits and group photographs when it’s useful.
How many photographs will we receive?
A full wedding day usually delivers around 500–800 individually edited photographs in a private online gallery. The final number varies because every wedding and every story is different.
How long do you stay?
Full-day coverage runs for up to 12 hours, typically from preparations through the first dance and into the party. Shorter half-day and intimate wedding options are also available.
How do we check whether our date is available?
