Relaxed Wedding Photography at The River Barn

If you're getting married at The River Barn and don't fancy spending half your wedding day posing for photos, we'll probably get along pretty well!

My approach to weddings is really simple — I want you to enjoy your day while I capture it as it actually happens. I'm not going to constantly stop you, stage moments or drag you away from your guests for an hour-long photoshoot.

I've photographed weddings at The River Barn before, so I know the venue and where we can quickly grab some great photos without taking you away from the party for ages. The rest of the time, I'm looking for the laughs, reactions and little moments happening naturally around you.

You'll still get the beautiful couple photos and a handful of family photos, just without your wedding feeling like one long photoshoot.

Getting Married at The River Barn?

Set beside the River Wyre, near Poulton-le-Fylde in Lancashire, The River Barn is a brilliant choice if you're looking for a relaxed, rustic wedding venue in the North West.

There's loads of character throughout the venue, with exposed oak beams, plenty of natural light and greenery everywhere. Outside you've got the tree-lined driveway, woodland and walled gardens, so it has that countryside feel without being overly formal.

It's also a great venue for the way I photograph weddings. There's plenty going on in and around the barn, which means I can capture loads of natural moments throughout the day without constantly pulling you away from your guests.
