Holbeck Ghyll Wedding Photographer | Cammi & Euan

Cammi & Euan’s Holbeck Ghyll wedding was a brilliant day, with some pretty amazing Lake District scenery, plenty of laughs and a few things that made it particularly memorable.

First up, the red wedding dress. Cammi absolutely smashed it, and the colour looked incredible against the scenery around Holbeck Ghyll. Definitely a little different from the usual wedding dress, and it made for some brilliant photographs throughout the day.

Then there were the alpacas. Obviously, any wedding involving alpacas is going to be a good one, and they made an appearance for a few photos during the day.

I also had a great chat with Euan’s dad, who is into photography himself. It’s always nice finding someone else who gets it, and we ended up having a good natter about cameras, photography and all the usual gear chat.

The rest of the day was exactly the sort of wedding I love photographing — relaxed, plenty going on and without loads of formalities. I spent most of the day documenting things naturally, while making the most of the incredible surroundings at Holbeck Ghyll for some relaxed photographs of Cammi and Euan.

Holbeck Ghyll Wedding Photography

Holbeck Ghyll is one of my favourite Lake District wedding venues, and it's a brilliant place for natural wedding photography. Sitting above Windermere with views across the surrounding fells, there are some seriously good backdrops for photographs without having to go far from the venue.

The combination of the venue, the scenery and the relaxed atmosphere makes Holbeck Ghyll wedding photography a really good fit for my documentary style.
