Relaxed Wedding Photography at Lancrigg

If you're getting married at Lancrigg and want your wedding to feel relaxed rather than like one long photoshoot, that's pretty much how I like to work.

Lancrigg really suits my style of photography. It's laid-back, surrounded by the Lake District and has loads of character, so there's no need to overcomplicate things or spend ages setting up photographs.

Most of the day I'll just let you get on with enjoying your wedding while I capture everything happening around you — the laughs, reactions and all the little moments you probably won't even notice at the time.

We'll still get some great photos of the two of you and any family photos you'd like, just without disappearing for hours or turning your wedding into a photoshoot.

Getting Married at Lancrigg?

Tucked away just outside Grasmere, Lancrigg is a brilliant little wedding venue right in the heart of the Lake District. It feels properly secluded, surrounded by woodland and mountains, while still being only a short distance from the village.

It's got a much more relaxed feel than a traditional wedding venue, which makes it perfect for smaller, laid-back weddings where you actually want to spend the day with your guests.

Inside there's loads of character, while outside you've got the gardens, woodland and the Lake District scenery pretty much on the doorstep. Even when the weather does what Lake District weather tends to do, there's still plenty going on without the day having to revolve around getting outside for photographs.

For couples wanting a relaxed wedding in Grasmere without anything feeling overly formal, Lancrigg is a pretty special place to do it.
